I am going to answer this with a quote from Walt Disney:
“I am not Walt Disney anymore. Walt Disney is a thing, an image that people have. I spent my whole life building that image in the public mind. Walt Disney the person isn’t that image. I drink and I smoke and there are a lot of other things I do that don’t fit that image. But that image stands for something, and you don’t have to explain to people what it means. They know what Disney is when they see out films or go to Disneyland. They know they are going to get a certain kind of entertainment. And that’s what Disney is.
